Cyber Defense Consultant

Job Summary

To support cyber defense initiatives, the full-time Cyber Defense Consultant will build and maintain technologies, tools, and metrics while collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance the client's Cyber Defense Center, with remote eligibility in several US states.

Key responsibilities

• Leverage investigative tools to synthesize security data and develop SIEM dashboards for operational metrics
• Utilize knowledge of security architecture and automation to enhance cyber defense operations
• Engage with clients and teams to drive rapid resolution of security issues and advance strategic initiatives

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Cybersecurity, or a related field
• 3 years of experience with Security Orchestration, Automation, and Response (SOAR) technologies
• 3 years of experience in writing reports for executive and technical audiences
• 3 years of experience in data analytics, including metrics and reporting
• 2 years of experience working with cyber defense teams in operational environments
