Cyber Defense Consultant
Job Summary
Working remotely, the full-time Cyber Defense Consultant will build and maintain technologies and tools to enhance cyber defense initiatives, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver actionable reporting and operational metrics.
Key responsibilities
- Leverage investigative tools to synthesize security data and develop SIEM dashboards for operational metrics
- Engage with clients and cross-functional teams to drive rapid resolution of security issues
- Operationalize threat intelligence across functions to address key organizational threats
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Cybersecurity, or a related field
- 3 years of experience with Security Orchestration, Automation, and Response (SOAR) technologies
- 3 years of experience writing reports for executive leadership and technical audiences
- 3 years of experience in data analytics, including metrics and reporting
- 2 years of experience working with cyber defense teams in an operational environment
