Cyber Defense Director

Job Summary

To enhance cyber defense capabilities, the hybrid Director, Cyber Defense will define and execute the technical strategy for modernizing security platforms, architect scalable solutions, and lead enterprise initiatives to strengthen system and data resilience.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute the long-term strategy and technical roadmap for cyber defense capabilities
• Architect and scale core security platforms, including SIEM/SOAR and detection infrastructure
• Lead enterprise detection engineering, delivering advanced analytics and risk-based alerting across various environments

Required qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in core cyber defense disciplines such as security engineering and incident response
• Strong programming and automation skills, with experience in building custom security tooling
• Proven experience leading large-scale SIEM migrations or enterprise security platform transformations
• Deep expertise in modern security technologies, including SIEM, SOAR, and cloud security
• Hands-on experience applying AI/ML and automation to improve threat detection and incident response workflows
