Cyber Hunt Team Leader

Job Summary

Leading proactive threat hunting operations, the full-time Cyber Hunt Team Leader will direct a skilled team to identify and neutralize advanced threats within federal networks, collaborating closely with SOC analysts and stakeholders to enhance the agency's cybersecurity posture.

Key responsibilities

• Lead proactive threat hunting missions and advanced analytics to identify and neutralize threats
• Serve as an incident response lead and project/technical lead for the Hunt Team
• Develop threat hypotheses and detection logic while coordinating with SOC and CTI teams to mitigate advanced persistent threats

Required qualifications

• U.S. Citizenship required
• 10+ years of cybersecurity experience, with expertise in threat hunting and incident response
• Active Public Trust 6c clearance, or the ability to obtain and maintain one
• At least one of the following certifications: CISSP, GCIH, GCFA, or CEH
• Hands-on experience with EDR/NDR platforms, SIEM tools, and the MITRE ATT&CK framework
