Job Summary

Providing technical and engineering support for cybersecurity compliance, the remote Cyber Operations Analyst will manage incident response and system administration tasks for USCG navigation systems, ensuring adherence to security protocols and best practices.

Key responsibilities
  • Support cyber assessment and compliance for assigned systems, including vulnerability scans and system administration
  • Maintain and evolve incident response standard operating procedures in accordance with industry regulations and best practices
  • Conduct forensic investigations into cybersecurity vulnerabilities and provide expert guidance on risk management policies
Required qualifications
  • Active Secret clearance
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field, with 5+ years of relevant experience in Cybersecurity Operations and Incident Response
  • At least one relevant cybersecurity certification in good standing (e.g., CCNA Security, CySA+, Security+ CE)
  • Knowledge of Incident Response Handling Procedures (NIST SP 800-61) and familiarity with cyber adversary tactics
  • Experience with cybersecurity tools such as Splunk, Microsoft Defender Endpoint, or Tanium
