Cyber Operator

Job Summary

Supporting the day-to-day execution of vulnerability management workflows, the full-time Cyber Operator will work remotely to monitor vulnerabilities, coordinate remediation efforts, and produce clear documentation for both technical and leadership audiences.

Key responsibilities

• Execute workflows for vulnerability management, including validation, remediation coordination, and risk-acceptance governance
• Monitor and analyze scanning outputs and threat feeds to identify and prioritize emerging vulnerabilities
• Create and manage remediation tickets, ensuring accurate documentation and coordination with business-unit owners

Required qualifications

• 1-3 years of experience in cybersecurity, vulnerability management, IT operations, or a related field
• Familiarity with cybersecurity concepts, including vulnerabilities, patching, and risk fundamentals
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple workstreams and meet deadlines
• Comfort collaborating with both technical and non-technical colleagues and a willingness to learn new tools and workflows
