Cyber Ops Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Cyber Ops Specialist II to execute forensic analyses and manage investigations in cybersecurity.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute analyses using forensics technologies to collect and restore computer evidence
• Present investigation results and manage documentation and evidence handling for legal proceedings
• Support security event monitoring and incident response for a cyber defense program

Required Qualifications

• 2-3 years of relevant experience or equivalent work experience
• Ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance
• Required certifications: GCTI, CISSP, CompTIA CySA+, or DoD 8140 Baseline (Sec+)
• Experience with Cyber Hunt, Digital Forensics, and Incident Response
• Familiarity with tools such as Splunk and Microsoft Defender is preferred
