Job Summary
To support the expansion of the Cyber Risk Defense program, the full-time Cyber Risk Defense Consultant will manage Splunk and Cribl Enterprise engineering and administration, ensuring the security and integrity of data and systems in a remote work environment.
Key responsibilities:
- Oversee business-specific projects, applying expertise to develop work plans and coordinate resources effectively
- Lead proactive monitoring and response to emerging threats against the network, communicating findings to non-technical audiences
- Coordinate incident response and resolution for high-impact cybersecurity incidents, including deployment of threat detection capabilities
Required qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Social Science, Mathematics, or a related field
- Minimum eight (8) years of experience in IT or a related field, with at least two (2) years in information security or network engineering
- Minimum two (2) years in an informal leadership role working with project or technical teams
- Knowledge and professional experience supporting Splunk Enterprise and Splunk Cloud environments
- Possession of Splunk Architect and/or Splunk Administration Certification(s) is preferred
