Cyber Risk Defense Consultant

Job Summary

To support the expansion of the Cyber Risk Defense program, the full-time Cyber Risk Defense Consultant will manage Splunk and Cribl Enterprise engineering and administration, ensuring the security and integrity of data and systems in a remote work environment.

Key responsibilities:

• Oversee business-specific projects, applying expertise to develop work plans and coordinate resources effectively
• Lead proactive monitoring and response to emerging threats against the network, communicating findings to non-technical audiences
• Coordinate incident response and resolution for high-impact cybersecurity incidents, including deployment of threat detection capabilities

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Social Science, Mathematics, or a related field
• Minimum eight (8) years of experience in IT or a related field, with at least two (2) years in information security or network engineering
• Minimum two (2) years in an informal leadership role working with project or technical teams
• Knowledge and professional experience supporting Splunk Enterprise and Splunk Cloud environments
• Possession of Splunk Architect and/or Splunk Administration Certification(s) is preferred
