Cyber Risk Defense Consultant

Job Summary

As a full-time remote Cyber Risk Defense Consultant, the successful candidate will manage and support enterprise Splunk and Cribl environments, focusing on cyber threat detection and response while ensuring the integrity and security of data and systems.

Key responsibilities:

• Oversee the maintenance and protection of security data, systems, and networks while leading complex data analyses for security event management
• Facilitate communication and collaboration between technical teams and senior leadership to address security gaps and improve processes
• Drive the development and deployment of threat detection capabilities and incident response plans, including after-hours support as needed

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Social Science, Mathematics, or related field
• Minimum eight (8) years of experience in IT or a related field, including at least two (2) years in information security or network engineering
• At least two (2) years in an informal leadership role working with project or technical teams
• Knowledge and professional experience supporting Splunk Enterprise and Splunk Cloud environments
• Possess Splunk Architect and/or Splunk Administration Certification(s)
