Cyber Risk Defense Consultant

Job Summary

To support the expansion of the Cyber Risk Defense program, the full-time Cyber Risk Defense Consultant will manage and administer Splunk and Cribl environments, ensuring the integrity and security of data systems while leading proactive threat monitoring and response efforts remotely.

Key responsibilities:

• Oversee business-specific projects and coordinate resources to meet organizational goals
• Lead the monitoring and response to cyber threats while communicating findings to non-technical audiences
• Facilitate collaboration between teams to improve security posture and drive incident detection and response processes

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Social Science, Mathematics, or related field
• Minimum eight (8) years of experience in IT or a related field, including two (2) years in information security or network engineering
• At least two (2) years in an informal leadership role with project or technical teams
• Knowledge and experience supporting Splunk Enterprise and Cribl environments
• Possession of Splunk Architect and/or Splunk Administration Certification(s) is preferred
