Cyber Risk Defense Consultant

Job Summary

To enhance the Cyber Risk Defense program, the full-time Cyber Risk Defense Consultant will manage Splunk and Cribl Enterprise engineering and administration, focusing on maintaining the security of data, systems, and networks in a remote capacity.

Key responsibilities:

• Oversee business-specific projects, ensuring adherence to procedures and effective resource management
• Lead proactive monitoring and response to cyber threats while communicating findings to non-technical audiences
• Coordinate the investigation and resolution of high-impact cybersecurity incidents, including the deployment of threat detection capabilities

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Social Science, Mathematics, or related field
• Minimum eight (8) years of experience in IT or a related field, with at least two (2) years in information security or network engineering
• Two (2) years in an informal leadership role working with project or technical teams
• Knowledge and professional experience supporting Splunk Enterprise and Splunk Cloud environments
• Possession of Splunk Architect and/or Splunk Administration Certification(s) is preferred
