Cyber Risk Defense Consultant V

Job Summary

To enhance the Cyber Risk Defense program, the full-time Cyber Risk Defense Consultant V will manage Splunk and Cribl Enterprise engineering and administration, ensuring the security and reliability of data, systems, and networks while working remotely.

Key responsibilities:

• Oversee business-specific projects, applying deep expertise to promote adherence to procedures and develop work plans that meet organizational goals
• Lead proactive monitoring and response to cyber threats, coordinating incident response and resolution for high-impact security incidents
• Facilitate communication between technical teams and senior management, identifying security gaps and driving process improvements

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Social Science, Mathematics, or related field
• Minimum eight (8) years of experience in IT or a related field, including two (2) years in information security or network engineering
• At least two (2) years in an informal leadership role working with project or technical teams
• Professional experience supporting Splunk Enterprise and Splunk Cloud environments
• Knowledge of large-scale Linux/Unix deployments and experience with AI and ML model creation
