Cyber Risk Defense Principal

Job Summary

To enhance the Cyber Risk Defense program, the full-time salaried Cyber Risk Defense Principal will manage the development of advanced machine learning solutions on the Splunk Enterprise platform to improve cyber threat detection and compliance across clinical systems, working remotely from authorized states.

Key responsibilities

• Drives execution of multiple work streams by developing procedures, translating business strategy into actionable requirements, and guiding performance
• Leads proactive monitoring and response to cyber threats while effectively communicating findings to non-technical audiences
• Serves as a subject matter expert for complex data analyses and coordinates the response to high-impact cybersecurity incidents

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Social Science, Mathematics, or related field
• Minimum ten (10) years of experience in IT or a related field, including at least four (4) years in information security or network engineering
• Minimum four (4) years in an informal leadership role working with project or technical teams
• Hands-on experience with machine learning frameworks and developing anomaly detection models
• Experience with Unix-based systems and Python development
