Cyber Risk Defense Principal

Job Summary

To enhance the Cyber Risk Defense program, the full-time Cyber Risk Defense Principal will manage and direct the development of advanced machine learning solutions on the Splunk Enterprise platform to support cyber threat detection and compliance across clinical systems, while working remotely.

Key responsibilities:

• Drive execution of multiple work streams by developing procedures and translating business strategy into actionable requirements
• Lead proactive monitoring and response efforts against known or emerging threats to the network
• Serve as a subject matter expert in data analyses to support security event management and coordinate responses to critical cyber security incidents

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Social Science, Mathematics, or a related field
• Minimum ten (10) years of experience in IT or a related field, including at least four (4) years in information security or network engineering
• Experience in an informal leadership role working with project or technical teams for at least four (4) years
• Hands-on experience with machine learning frameworks and developing anomaly detection models
• Knowledge of clinical systems and workflows
