Cyber Risk Defense Principal

Job Summary

To enhance the Cyber Risk Defense program, the full-time salaried Cyber Risk Defense Principal will manage the development of advanced machine learning solutions within the Splunk Enterprise platform to address cyber threats and compliance across clinical systems while working remotely.

Key responsibilities:

• Drives execution of multiple work streams by developing procedures, gaining cross-functional support, and translating business strategy into actionable requirements
• Leads proactive monitoring and response to emerging threats while effectively communicating findings to non-technical audiences
• Coordinates the response to high-impact cybersecurity incidents and drives the development of incident detection and handling processes

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Social Science, Mathematics, or related field
• Minimum ten (10) years of experience in IT or a related field, including at least four (4) years in information security or network engineering
• Minimum four (4) years in an informal leadership role working with project or technical teams
• Experience with machine learning frameworks/algorithms and building anomaly detection models
• Hands-on experience with Python development in Unix-based systems
