Cyber Risk Defense Principal

Job Summary

To enhance Cyber Risk Defense initiatives, the full-time salaried Cyber Risk Defense Principal will develop advanced machine learning solutions on the Splunk platform, focusing on cyber threat detection, privacy, and compliance across clinical systems while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Drives execution of multiple work streams by developing procedures, translating business strategy into actionable requirements, and guiding performance
• Leads proactive monitoring and response to emerging threats, effectively communicating findings to non-technical audiences
• Serves as a subject matter expert in complex data analyses to support security event management and coordinates responses to critical cyber security incidents

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Social Science, Mathematics, or a related field
• Minimum ten (10) years of experience in IT or a related field, including at least four (4) years in information security or network engineering
• Minimum four (4) years in an informal leadership role working with project or technical teams
• Hands-on experience with machine learning frameworks and algorithms such as Random Forest and XGBoost
• Experience in building and maintaining anomaly detection models on Unix-based systems using Python
