Cyber Risk Defense Principal

Job Summary

To enhance Cyber Security initiatives, the full-time salaried Cyber Risk Defense Principal will develop advanced machine learning solutions on the Splunk platform, manage security data integrity, and lead cross-functional teams in identifying and responding to cyber threats while working remotely.

Key responsibilities:

• Drives execution of multiple work streams by translating business strategy into actionable requirements and removing performance obstacles
• Leads proactive monitoring and response to emerging threats, providing insights and recommendations to improve security posture
• Facilitates collaboration between teams to enhance incident detection capabilities and coordinate responses to critical cyber security incidents

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Social Science, Mathematics, or related field
• Minimum ten (10) years of experience in IT or a related field, including four (4) years in information security or network engineering
• Minimum four (4) years in an informal leadership role working with project or technical teams
• Hands-on experience with machine learning frameworks and Python development
• Knowledge of clinical systems and workflows
