Cyber Risk Defense Principal
Job Summary
To enhance Cyber Security initiatives, the full-time Cyber Risk Defense Principal will develop advanced machine learning solutions on the Splunk Enterprise platform, manage security data integrity, and lead proactive monitoring of cyber threats in a remote work environment.
Key responsibilities:
- Drive execution of multiple work streams by identifying operational needs and developing procedures
- Lead the proactive monitoring and response to cyber threats, ensuring the integrity of data and systems
- Serve as a subject matter expert in data analysis to support security event management and incident response processes
Required qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Social Science, Mathematics, or related field
- Minimum ten (10) years of experience in IT or a related field, including four (4) years in information security or network engineering
- Minimum four (4) years in an informal leadership role working with project or technical teams
- Hands-on experience with machine learning frameworks and Python development
- Experience in developing and maintaining anomaly detection models
