Cyber Risk Defense Principal

Job Summary

To enhance the Cyber Risk Defense program, the full-time salaried Cyber Risk Defense Principal will develop advanced machine learning solutions on the Splunk Enterprise platform, focusing on cyber threat detection, privacy, and compliance while working remotely from authorized states.

Key responsibilities:

• Drives execution of multiple work streams by developing procedures, gaining cross-functional support, and solving complex issues
• Leads proactive monitoring and response to cyber threats, communicating findings to non-technical audiences
• Coordinates the response to high-impact cybersecurity incidents and recommends improvements to threat detection capabilities

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Social Science, Mathematics, or related field
• Minimum ten (10) years of experience in IT or a related field, including four (4) years in information security or network engineering
• Experience with machine learning frameworks and algorithms, specifically in developing anomaly detection models
• Minimum four (4) years in an informal leadership role working with project or technical teams
• Hands-on experience with Python development and Unix-based systems
