Job Summary
To enhance cyber threat detection and compliance, the full-time Cyber Risk Defense Principal will develop advanced machine learning solutions on the Splunk platform while managing security data integrity and leading incident response efforts in a remote work environment.
Key responsibilities:
- Drives execution of multiple work streams by developing procedures, gaining cross-functional support, and guiding performance
- Leads proactive monitoring and response to cyber threats while effectively communicating findings to non-technical audiences
- Serves as a subject matter expert in complex data analyses to support security event management and coordinates responses to critical incidents
Required qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Social Science, Mathematics, or related field
- Minimum ten (10) years of experience in IT or a related field, including four (4) years in information security or network engineering
- Experience in an informal leadership role working with project or technical teams for at least four (4) years
- Hands-on experience with machine learning frameworks and algorithms, particularly in threat detection
- Knowledge of clinical systems and workflows relevant to cyber security
