Cyber Risk Defense Principal

Job Summary

To enhance the Cyber Risk Defense program, the full-time salaried Cyber Risk Defense Principal will manage the development of advanced machine learning solutions on the Splunk Enterprise platform, focusing on cyber threat detection, privacy, and compliance across clinical systems while working remotely.

Key responsibilities:

• Drives execution of multiple work streams by developing procedures, gaining cross-functional support, and removing performance obstacles
• Leads proactive monitoring and response to cyber threats, effectively communicating findings to non-technical audiences
• Coordinates the response to high-impact cyber security incidents and develops incident detection and handling processes

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Social Science, Mathematics, or related field
• Minimum ten (10) years of experience in IT or a related field, including four (4) years in information security or network engineering
• Experience in an informal leadership role working with project or technical teams for at least four (4) years
• Hands-on experience with machine learning frameworks and anomaly detection models
• Knowledge of clinical systems and workflows
