Cyber Risk Defense Principal

Job Summary

To enhance Cyber Security initiatives, the full-time Cyber Risk Defense Principal will develop advanced machine learning solutions on the Splunk platform, manage security data integrity, and lead cross-functional teams in addressing cyber threats, all while working remotely from authorized states.

Key responsibilities:

• Drive execution of multiple work streams by developing procedures, translating business strategy into actionable requirements, and removing performance obstacles
• Lead proactive monitoring and response to known or emerging threats, while effectively communicating findings to non-technical audiences
• Conduct complex data analyses to support security event management processes, including root cause analysis and incident response planning

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Social Science, Mathematics, or related field
• Minimum ten (10) years of experience in IT or a related field, including four (4) years in information security or network engineering
• Four (4) years of experience in an informal leadership role working with project or technical teams
• Hands-on experience with machine learning frameworks and algorithms, particularly in a cyber security context
• Experience with clinical systems and workflows is preferred
