Cyber Risk Defense Principal

Job Summary

To enhance the Cyber Risk Defense program, the full-time salaried Cyber Risk Defense Principal will manage the development of advanced machine learning solutions on the Splunk Enterprise platform, focusing on cyber threat detection and compliance across clinical systems while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Drives execution of multiple work streams by developing new procedures, gaining cross-functional support, and translating business strategy into actionable requirements
• Leads proactive monitoring and response to cyber threats, effectively communicating findings to non-technical audiences
• Serves as a subject matter expert in complex data analyses to support security event management processes and coordinates responses to critical incidents

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Social Science, Mathematics, or related field
• Minimum ten (10) years of experience in IT or a related field, including four (4) years in information security or network engineering
• Minimum four (4) years in an informal leadership role working with project or technical teams
• Hands-on experience with machine learning frameworks and algorithms, particularly in developing anomaly detection models
• Experience with Unix-based systems and proficiency in Python development
