Cyber Risk Defense Principal

Job Summary

Seeking a full-time Cyber Risk Defense Principal, the successful candidate will manage the development of advanced machine learning solutions on the Splunk Enterprise platform to enhance cyber threat detection and compliance, while working remotely and collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Key responsibilities:

• Drive execution of multiple work streams by developing procedures, gaining cross-functional support, and translating business strategies into actionable requirements
• Lead proactive monitoring and response to cyber threats, while effectively communicating findings to non-technical audiences
• Serve as a subject matter expert in data analysis to support security event management and coordinate responses to critical cyber security incidents

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Social Science, Mathematics, or a related field
• Minimum ten (10) years of experience in IT or a related field, including at least four (4) years in information security or network engineering
• Experience in an informal leadership role working with project or technical teams for at least four (4) years
• Hands-on experience with machine learning frameworks and Python development
• Knowledge of clinical systems and workflows
