Cyber Risk Defense Principal

Job Summary

To enhance Cyber Security initiatives, the full-time salaried Cyber Risk Defense Principal will develop advanced machine learning solutions on the Splunk platform, manage security data integrity, and lead the response to cyber threats in a remote work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Drive the execution of multiple work streams by developing procedures, gaining cross-functional support, and translating business strategy into actionable requirements
• Lead proactive monitoring and response to cyber threats, including investigating and triaging security events across various domains
• Facilitate communication between technical teams and executive leadership, providing insights for strategic direction in threat detection and incident response

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Social Science, Mathematics, or a related field
• Minimum ten (10) years of experience in IT or a related field, including at least four (4) years in information security or network engineering
• Experience in an informal leadership role working with project or technical teams for a minimum of four (4) years
• Hands-on experience with machine learning frameworks and algorithms, particularly in developing anomaly detection models
• Knowledge of clinical systems and workflows relevant to cyber security
