Cyber Risk Defense Principal

Job Summary

To enhance cyber threat detection and compliance, the full-time Cyber Risk Defense Principal will develop advanced machine learning solutions on the Splunk platform, manage security data integrity, and lead proactive threat monitoring in a remote environment.

Key responsibilities:

• Drive execution of multiple work streams by developing procedures, gaining cross-functional support, and translating business strategy into actionable requirements
• Lead team efforts in monitoring and responding to cyber threats while effectively communicating findings to non-technical audiences
• Serve as a subject matter expert in data analyses to support security event management processes, including incident detection and response

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Social Science, Mathematics, or a related field
• Minimum ten (10) years of experience in IT or a related field, including at least four (4) years in information security or network engineering
• Minimum four (4) years in an informal leadership role working with project or technical teams
• Hands-on experience with machine learning frameworks and Python development
• Knowledge of clinical systems and workflows relevant to cyber security
