Cyber Risk Defense Principal

Job Summary

To enhance the Cyber Risk Defense program, the full-time Cyber Risk Defense Principal will develop advanced machine learning solutions on the Splunk Enterprise platform, focusing on cyber threat detection and compliance while working remotely.

Key responsibilities:

• Manage and direct the maintenance and protection of data, systems, and network security
• Lead the proactive monitoring and response to emerging cyber threats across the organization
• Coordinate the development and implementation of incident detection and response processes

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Social Science, Mathematics, or related field
• Minimum ten (10) years of experience in IT or a related field, including four (4) years in information security or network engineering
• Experience with machine learning frameworks and algorithms such as Random Forest and XGBoost
• Hands-on experience with Splunk Enterprise and Unix-based systems
• Minimum four (4) years in an informal leadership role with project or technical teams
