Cyber Risk Defense Principal

Job Summary

Seeking a full-time Cyber Risk Defense Principal, the successful candidate will manage and direct the development of advanced machine learning solutions on the Splunk Enterprise platform to enhance cyber threat detection and compliance across clinical systems while working remotely.

Key responsibilities:

• Drive execution of multiple work streams by developing procedures, gaining cross-functional support, and removing performance obstacles
• Lead proactive monitoring and response to emerging threats, effectively communicating findings to non-technical audiences
• Serve as a subject matter expert in data analyses for security event management and coordinate responses to critical cyber security incidents

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Social Science, Mathematics, or related field
• Minimum ten (10) years of experience in IT or a related field, including four (4) years in information security or network engineering
• Four (4) years of experience in an informal leadership role with project or technical teams
• Hands-on experience with machine learning frameworks and Python development
• Knowledge of clinical systems and workflows
