Cyber Risk Defense Principal

Job Summary

To enhance the Cyber Risk Defense program, the full-time salaried Cyber Risk Defense Principal will manage the development of advanced machine learning solutions on the Splunk Enterprise platform to improve cyber threat detection, privacy, and compliance across clinical systems while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Drive execution of multiple work streams by identifying needs, developing policies, and influencing project completion
• Lead proactive monitoring and response to emerging threats, and communicate findings to non-technical audiences
• Serve as a subject matter expert in data analyses to support security event management and coordinate responses to critical incidents

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Social Science, Mathematics, or a related field
• Minimum ten (10) years of experience in IT or a related field, including four (4) years in information security or network engineering
• At least four (4) years in an informal leadership role with project or technical teams
• Hands-on experience with machine-learning frameworks and anomaly detection models
• Knowledge of clinical systems and workflows
