Cyber Risk Defense Principal

Job Summary

To enhance the Cyber Risk Defense program, the full-time salaried Cyber Risk Defense Principal will manage the development of advanced machine learning solutions on the Splunk Enterprise platform, focusing on cyber threat detection and compliance across clinical systems while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Drive execution of multiple work streams by developing procedures, gaining cross-functional support, and translating business strategies into actionable requirements
• Lead proactive monitoring and response to cyber threats, providing insights and recommendations for improving security posture
• Serve as a subject matter expert in data analysis to support security event management and coordinate responses to high-impact incidents

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Social Science, Mathematics, or a related field
• Minimum ten (10) years of experience in IT or a related field, including at least four (4) years in information security or network engineering
• Experience with machine learning frameworks and algorithms, particularly in developing anomaly detection models
• Minimum four (4) years in an informal leadership role working with project or technical teams
• Hands-on experience with Python development and Unix-based systems
