Cyber Risk Defense Principal

Job Summary

Seeking a full-time Cyber Risk Defense Principal, the successful candidate will manage and direct the development of advanced machine learning solutions on the Splunk platform to enhance cyber threat detection and compliance, while working remotely from authorized states.

Key responsibilities:

• Drive execution of multiple work streams by identifying needs, developing procedures, and guiding performance
• Lead proactive monitoring and response to cyber threats, effectively communicating findings to non-technical audiences
• Serve as a subject matter expert in data analysis to support security event management and incident response processes

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Social Science, Mathematics, or related field
• Minimum ten (10) years of experience in IT or a related field, including four (4) years in information security or network engineering
• Four (4) years of experience in an informal leadership role with project or technical teams
• Hands-on experience with machine learning frameworks/algorithms and Python development
• Knowledge of clinical systems and workflows
