Cyber Risk Defense Principal

Job Summary

To enhance the Cyber Risk Defense program, the full-time salaried Cyber Risk Defense Principal will leverage expertise in Splunk and machine learning to develop advanced solutions for cyber threat detection and compliance, while working remotely within authorized states.

Key responsibilities:

• Manage the execution of multiple work streams to identify operational needs and develop actionable business requirements
• Lead proactive monitoring and response efforts to emerging threats against the network while effectively communicating findings to non-technical audiences
• Serve as a subject matter expert in data analysis for security event management, coordinating responses to high-impact cybersecurity incidents

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Social Science, Mathematics, or a related field
• Minimum ten (10) years of experience in IT or a related field, including four (4) years in information security or network engineering
• Minimum four (4) years in an informal leadership role working with project or technical teams
• Hands-on experience with machine learning frameworks and Python development
• Experience building and maintaining anomaly detection models on Unix-based systems
