Cyber Risk Defense Principal

Job Summary

To enhance the Cyber Risk Defense program, the full-time salaried Cyber Risk Defense Principal will manage the development of advanced machine learning solutions on the Splunk platform, focusing on cyber threat detection and compliance across clinical systems while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Drives execution of multiple work streams by identifying needs, developing procedures, and guiding performance
• Leads proactive monitoring and response to cyber threats while communicating findings to non-technical audiences
• Coordinates the response to critical cybersecurity incidents and develops incident detection and handling processes

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Social Science, Mathematics, or related field
• Minimum ten (10) years of experience in IT or a related field, including four (4) years in information security or network engineering
• Minimum four (4) years in an informal leadership role with project or technical teams
• Hands-on experience with machine learning frameworks and anomaly detection models
• Proficiency in Python development and Unix-based systems
