Cyber Risk Officer

Job Summary

Seeking an experienced cybersecurity risk professional, the full-time remote Cyber Risk Officer will implement and advance oversight of a robust cybersecurity risk framework, ensuring alignment with regulatory requirements and corporate objectives while conducting targeted risk reviews and data analysis.

Key responsibilities

• Conducts targeted risk reviews to identify and evaluate potential security risks in enterprise cyber processes and systems
• Prepares effective challenge memos for issues, new products, and material risk-related efforts to ensure key risks are identified and managed
• Develops collaborative relationships with stakeholders to enhance cross-functional risk management capabilities

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree and 6 years of experience in Enterprise Risk or Operational Risk, or High School Diploma/GED with 10 years of relevant experience
• At least 4 years of experience in cyber or technology risk management, internal audit, or regulatory governance
• Knowledge of risk techniques and frameworks such as COBIT, COSO, and NIST CSF
• Strong written and oral communication skills to influence diverse audiences
• Expertise with MS-Office suite, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
