Cyber Risk Principal - Splunk Developer

Job Summary

Working remotely on a contract basis, the Cyber Risk Principal - Splunk Developer will design and develop advanced machine learning solutions within Splunk to detect risks, enhance privacy controls, and strengthen enterprise security across complex environments.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop custom applications within Splunk to identify and mitigate cybersecurity and privacy risks
• Build and maintain machine learning models for anomaly detection and classification
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business and security needs into technical solutions

Required qualifications

• 5-10+ years of experience in Splunk development, administration, or engineering
• Strong Python development experience, including building data pipelines and analytics solutions
• Experience developing or maintaining machine learning models, including both supervised and unsupervised learning techniques
• Solid understanding of feature engineering, model validation, and performance tuning
• Familiarity with model interpretability techniques such as SHAP and LIME
