Cyber Security Analyst

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Cyber Security (SOC) Analyst.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and analyze security events and alerts in a 24x7 environment
• Perform initial investigations to determine the validity of alerts and escalate incidents as necessary
• Create detailed incident reports and ensure adherence to established procedures and SLAs

Required Qualifications

• 2-4 years of experience in an operational technology environment or relevant education
• Foundational knowledge of networking principles and system architecture
• Experience with security monitoring platforms, preferably SIEM solutions
• Understanding of the cyber security threat landscape and common attack vectors
• Relevant industry certification such as CompTIA Security+ or CompTIA CySA+ is preferred
