Cyber Security Analyst

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Cyber Security Analyst to support cybersecurity efforts within the Department of Veterans Affairs Health Portfolio.

Key Responsibilities

• Support cybersecurity efforts across multiple projects and monitor cyber priorities
• Coordinate security and privacy activities within project teams and develop related artifacts
• Review system/application security controls and ensure timely delivery of security artifacts

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience
• 5 years of experience in cybersecurity, with experience achieving ATO for VA or Federal projects
• Strong understanding of FISMA, NIST-800-53, HIPAA, and HITECH Act
• Experience with ticketing systems such as ServiceNow
• Security+ or other applicable certification
