Cyber Security Analyst

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Cyber Security Analyst to contribute to and strengthen its Information Security function.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor, investigate, and resolve security alerts and incidents, including root cause analysis and preventive actions
• Identify security risks and recommend remediation or mitigating controls while supporting ongoing risk assessments
• Apply and enforce information security policies and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or Information Systems Security preferred
• Security training certifications such as Security+, Azure Fundamentals, or Network+ strongly preferred
• 1-3 years of experience as an IT security specialist
• 5+ years of experience working in IT
• 1+ years of experience in a regulated IT environment, including knowledge of SOX, HIPAA, GLBA, or PCI
