Cyber Security Analyst

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Cyber Security Analyst to support the security posture of VA information systems and environments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform ongoing vulnerability scanning, penetration testing, and remediation in accordance with relevant standards
• Develop and maintain Assessment & Authorization artifacts to support ATO submissions and renewals
• Respond to and analyze security events and incidents, ensuring timely remediation and stakeholder notification

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline; equivalent practical experience may be considered
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in cyber security operations, risk assessment, or information security compliance
• Demonstrated knowledge of federal cybersecurity standards and experience with vulnerability assessments
• Familiarity with security tools and experience supporting ATO and A&A processes
• Understanding of DevSecOps practices and the ability to manage multiple applications
