Cyber Security Analyst

Job Summary

Providing tier 2 and 3 support, the full-time remote Cyber Security Analyst will analyze web traffic data to identify and block malicious activity while collaborating with threat researchers to enhance detection capabilities.

Key responsibilities

• Provide tier 2 and 3 support to customers and collaborate with the threat research team
• Analyze large web traffic data sets to identify and block malicious traffic
• Create automations/scripts to detect outliers and enhance the detection platform

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field
• At least 2 years of experience in a similar role
• Familiarity with at least one scripting language, preferably Python
• Expertise in network or web infrastructure (HTML, HTTP, CDN, DNS, IPv4/IPv6)
• Proficiency in at least one database language: MySQL, NoSQL, or ElasticSearch
