Cyber Security Analyst

Job Summary

Working remotely on a contract basis, the Cyber Security Analyst will manage incident response tasks, analyze security events, and perform malware analytics within a mature Security Operations Center.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct incident response work, including analyzing events and prioritizing incidents
• Perform malware analytics and vulnerability assessments on complex security events
• Collaborate with forensic support to extract data and develop training materials

Required qualifications

• 1+ year of experience in Cyber Security
• Familiarity with operating systems such as Linux and Windows
• Experience with scripting languages like PowerShell, Python, or Bash
• Basic understanding of forensic practices and threat intelligence tools
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Information Systems preferred but not required
