Cyber Security Analyst

Job Summary

Working fully remote, the full-time Cyber Security Analyst will monitor incoming alerts and reports, perform triage on security events, and escalate complex issues to senior staff while ensuring the security of clients' systems.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and triage incoming alerts, reports, and metrics from various systems
• Perform minor responses to non-serious security events and escalate complex issues
• Document actions taken and recommend process improvements to enhance security measures

Required qualifications

• Basic understanding of SOC practices and incident response processes
• Strong understanding of the Windows operating system and ecosystem, including Active Directory and Microsoft 365
• Familiarity with ticketing and tracking systems
• Basic knowledge of networking protocols and malware analysis
• Preferred certifications include Security+, E|CIH, and GCIH or equivalents
