Cyber Security Analyst

Job Summary

Working remotely with occasional office days, the full-time Cyber Security Analyst will monitor network activity, detect and triage security alerts, and handle incident management to protect the organization from security risks.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor security incidents, manage cases and tickets, and analyze security logs to identify actionable events
• Determine attack types based on triaged events and ensure all incidents are recorded with detailed documentation
• Provide feedback for the design and administration of security tools to minimize false positives

Required qualifications

• University degree in Information Security, Forensics, Computer Science, or equivalent experience in IT security monitoring
• Multiple years of experience in security incident analysis and handling
• Good technical understanding of computing protocols, authentication mechanisms, and attack techniques
• Intermediate knowledge of Information Security fundamentals and technologies
• Experience securing Windows, Linux, Oracle, and VM platforms
