Cyber Security Analyst Consultant

Job Summary

Joining a curated network, experienced Cyber Security Analyst Consultants will provide expert advice to hedge funds and family offices on a contract basis, focusing on implementing and maintaining cybersecurity programs while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct best practice reviews and develop actionable plans for cybersecurity improvements
• Lead vulnerability management programs and perform annual cybersecurity assessments and penetration tests
• Implement organization-wide security best practices and monitor network traffic to prevent security incidents

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
• One or more relevant certifications (e.g., CEH, CISM, CISSP)
• 5+ years of experience as a Cybersecurity Analyst at a hedge fund or family office
• Experience with security technologies such as Splunk Cloud and Rapid7 Nexpose
• Thorough understanding of Microsoft's enterprise technology platform and security frameworks
