Cyber Security Analyst I

Job Summary

Supporting proactive monitoring of clients' environments, the full-time Cyber Security Analyst I will analyze, track, and mitigate external threats using a multi-tenant security information and event management system (SIEM) while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze, investigate, document, and report on security alerts and potential incidents in customer environments
• Serve as an incident coordinator for urgent security events requiring response, containment, and remediation
• Provide customers with meaningful security consultation and feedback on process improvements

Required qualifications

• 0-3 years' experience in a Security Operations Center (SOC) environment
• Basic understanding of query languages and general knowledge of programming language operations
• System networking experience or education
• Working knowledge/experience with Office 365
• Must be a U.S. Citizen residing within the United States or its Territories
