Job Summary
Supporting advanced Information Security and Cyber Threat management programs, the full-time remote Cyber Security Analyst II will analyze vulnerability and threat data, evaluate networks and systems for security gaps, and recommend improvements to defend the organization's cyber architecture.
Key responsibilities
- Monitors and evaluates security incidents and system alerts to detect potential threats and execute mitigation tactics
- Analyzes data from various systems to proactively identify and respond to cyber threats
- Produces reports documenting security incidents and facilitates actionable cyber-intelligence for daily operations
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree and 4 years of experience in Information Security, or High School Diploma/GED and 8 years of experience in Information Security
- Current knowledge of threat indicators, attack trends, and cyber-intelligence
- Experience in creating and maintaining incident response procedures and playbooks
- Ability to facilitate training on security threats for associates
- Experience with security monitoring systems and compliance with security policies
