Cyber Security Analyst III

Job Summary

Seeking a skilled Cyber Security Analyst III in a full-time remote role, the candidate will focus on application security and vulnerability management by identifying, analyzing, and mitigating security risks across software development pipelines using various security tools.

Key responsibilities

• Perform static, dynamic, and software composition analysis to identify vulnerabilities in applications and third-party components
• Conduct regular security assessments and vulnerability scans, validating and reproducing vulnerabilities while tracking remediation progress
• Configure, deploy, and maintain security scanning tools, automating security testing processes to improve efficiency and coverage

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree and 6 years of experience in Information Security, or High School Diploma/GED with 10 years of experience
• Hands-on experience with SAST, DAST, and SCA tools, along with web application security testing knowledge (OWASP Top 10, API security)
• Strong understanding of secure software development lifecycle (SDLC/DevSecOps) and common vulnerabilities
• Proficiency in one or more programming/scripting languages (e.g., Python, Java, JavaScript, Bash)
• Experience interpreting and prioritizing scan results and remediation plans
