Cyber Security Architect

Job Summary

Supporting enterprise vulnerability management in a dynamic federal environment, the contract-to-hire Cyber Security Architect will engineer, optimize, and maintain vulnerability management capabilities using tools like Tenable One and Nessus while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Configure vulnerability scanners and support continuous attack surface visibility
• Troubleshoot complex operational issues and deploy compliance audits with frameworks such as NIST & FedRAMP
• Integrate security platforms with enterprise systems like AWS, CyberArk, and Splunk

Required qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in cybersecurity, vulnerability management, or security operations
• Hands-on experience with Tenable One, Nessus, Tenable WAS, and AWS security environments
• Proficiency in web application scanning and cloud-native security tools
• Strong understanding of compliance frameworks including NIST, FedRAMP, and DISA STIG
• Experience with enterprise integrations, automation, and operational reporting
