Cyber Security Architect

Job Summary

To enhance the security of industrial energy products, the full-time remote Principal Product Cyber Security Architect will design secure architectures, lead threat modeling efforts, and translate security policies into actionable engineering guidance while collaborating with product teams across various sectors.

Key responsibilities

• Review and define secure architectures for industrial energy products, including security zones and data protection strategies
• Lead threat modeling and risk assessments, producing comprehensive outputs aligned with IEC 62443 standards
• Translate Secure Development Lifecycle requirements into practical guidance for engineering teams, supporting end-to-end SDL execution

Required qualifications

• Significant experience in cybersecurity with a focus on product or architecture security
• Demonstrated ability to produce security architecture deliverables and conduct risk assessments
• Working knowledge of IEC 62443, particularly 62443-3-2, 62443-3-3, and 62443-4-1
• Experience creating secure development artifacts such as security requirements and hardening guides
• Familiarity with Operational Technology (OT) and Industrial Control Systems (ICS) product architectures
