Cyber Security Director

Job Summary

Leading the cybersecurity function, the full-time remote Cyber Security Director will define and operationalize an enterprise cybersecurity strategy, manage a high-performing team, and ensure alignment with business priorities while mitigating risks and enhancing security maturity.

Key responsibilities

• Build and lead a high-performing cybersecurity organization, establishing priorities and accountability frameworks
• Own and evolve the enterprise cybersecurity strategy, aligning it with corporate objectives and measuring program effectiveness
• Oversee risk management strategies, ensuring compliance with regulatory frameworks and managing third-party security risks

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a closely related field
• Minimum of fifteen (15) years of progressive experience in cybersecurity or related technical fields
• At least seven (7) years of leadership experience managing teams within a cybersecurity function
• Demonstrated experience leading enterprise-scale cybersecurity programs and influencing VP-level stakeholders
• Extensive experience with security frameworks such as NIST CSF, ISO 27001, or CIS benchmarks
